In Nagan Chorangi, Karachi a student Amir Abbas was shot dead by unidentified motorcyclists while he was standing in car parking outside his hostel. The deceased belonged to Gilgit and came to Karachi for studies.

A police official said that the victim was BS student in the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus and was living in hostel where the incident took place.
