I was dumb that’s why I am Chief Minister:Mehdi Shah

Source (dardistantimes) The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Mr. Mehdi Shah participated in the Annual Sports Week of Public School and College in Skardu. Parents, teachers and school administration were envisaging Shah to encourage knowledge, excellence, learning, and merit — the ideals that a sound minded would like to see instilled in the teens. But, guess what, he uttered none of those beautiful words. Instead, Shah elaborated that he became the Chief Minister, for he was always a dumb student.

“My classmates were brilliant and I was always a dumb student and that’s why I am the Chief Minister”, Shah exemplified himself.

Shah, even, did not say that the street-cred, public opinion, democratic values or something similar to that pushed him to serve his nation or to become a Chief Minister. Instead, he said that, after God, it was Zardari who made him the Chief Minister. Democracy exposed!

The School kids were further astonished the way Shah lied to them that he has pursued a Ph.D. in politics.  As a matter of fact, Mehdi Shah holds only a secondary school certificate. Isn’t it a masterpiece classic hoax?

Speaking to his own people, Shah reaffirmed his allegiance to Larkana and to Zardari family. “Throughout my life, I have remained loyal and committed to one party and will remain so”, Shah said. That is right sir, why to waste expressing allegiance to the  poor people.

Jail qualifications, crime-credit, protégé-history and favouritism; all are serious social evils and it is unfortunate that politicians in our country so brazenly account them for their success stories.

The courts, at least, in Gilgit-Baltisan should bane speakers who publicly coquet dumbness, legal convictions, jail history (Ham Ney Jailein Kati Hain), police charges, favouritism, nepotism or public offences in their success stories. Keep the child away from the social evils!

If the political jugglers keep marketing these social evils to leverage their politics, evil, will no more remain an evil and what else could be a serious social evil than dumbness or ignorance? ( DT Talking Points)

Mehdi Shah’s Vote Treating and Electoral Fraud in Ghizar

Source ((Dardistan Times)) The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan has announced to pour 100 million rupees into Ghizar-1 constituency of Gilgit-Baltistan. The announcement was made during a public address in Ishqamen 3 days before the by-election on March 30th. The CM, in his public address even did not leave it secret that there is a link between his announcements and the oncoming election.

“My announcements should not be taken for pre-poll point scoring. However it should be clear that If the Chief Minister of Punjab can announce pre-poll packages, so can I. I have a right to do so”, Mehdi shah said.
He made a number of promises, during his visit, including: entry level jobs to local people, separate seat in GBLA for Gupis and Ishqamen, 4000 new employment opportunities, up gradation of schools, reconstruction of Hayum Bridge etc.
In his speech, the Chief Minister also attempted to influence the electorate threatening economic impediments in case candidates other than PPP win.
“I am the Chief Minister and I have every authority and power to give. If I do not intend to give even a rupee, how would Col. Karim or Nawaz Khan Naji be able to give you something?” Shah questioned the poverty stricken public of Ishqamen.
Pakistan Peoples Party is trying hard to resuscitate its falling popularity in the district and Mehdhi shah’s multi-million worth visit is seen as an electoral treating by public circles.
Hafiz Ur Rehman of Muslim League(N) has said that the announcements of Mehdi Shah are nothing but humbugging to engineer foregone polling results. He said that the people are tired and sick of the bunks by the PPP leaders – top to bottom.
Ghizar has remained the epicentre of PPP Jiyalas for several years where support for Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had been vigorously active.  The political trends in the District however, appear to be shifting as the educated youngsters in the region are looking towards offbeat political leadership who can selflessly resolve issues concerning the people of Ghizar.  The PPP government is in hot pursuit of knocking down Nawaz Khan Naji and Col. Karim.

Purchase Of Bullet Proof Vehicles in Gilgit Baltistan

Bullet proof vehicles have to be purchased for the CM and Governor Gilgit-Baltistan and if approved, it would cost 150 Million Rupees. I cannot understand the misery of why the government and the politicians always place their security on priority basis rather facilitating the people already deprived of even the basic amenities of life. The poor is dying of hunger and they are busy planning their personal security with the blood of people. If their security is so much important then why they are not arranging it by their own expenses? As they can manage it. Why they consider them self the most important to ones among all?Why they are taking the sectarian turmoil as deadly for them self only rather the victim is always the poor one who leaves his home early in the morning in search of his food?

For God sake Mr.Chief Minister & Mr.Governor nobody is going to hit you. Can you please refuse the bullet proof’s and order to spent these 150Million to setup a Professional institute i-e an Engineering, Medical or a Law college so that the youth can equip themselves with the modern and most demanded education which is inevitable in bringing up the status of this region equal to that of the modern world. And if yes, then I am sure that God will be protecting you from any attack of you fear. The whole region will then pray for your protection. They will volunteer them self to body guard you. This is all about “to do the needful in the time”
We must be aware of the fact that the only key to overthrow the threats of terror is by facilitating and promoting Education. The government is responsible to ensure the security of each and every person of its state. Purchasing only two bullet proof vehicles is not the solution to the problem.
